Surah Quraish is the 106th chapter of the Holy Quran. Despite being a short surah of four verses, it conveys a powerful message of being thankful to him. Surah Quraish was revealed before the migration of Prophet PBUH and is about the Quraish tribe that dominated Makkah. Surah Quraish is the only Surah in the Quran that mentions the name of a tribe.
Reason For Revelation
When most of the Arabian Peninsula faced difficult conditions, the Quraish were blessed with financial security and peace. They were fully enjoying the blessings of the Lord. They were in a blissful state compared to the other residents, but that didn’t stop them from worshipping other gods. Furthermore, the Quraish established a route for their commercial caravans. One route extended to Yemen in the south for the winter, and the other extended to the Levant in the north for the summer.
It is also said that there was another reason for the revelation of Surah Quraish. The tribe boasted about Allah’s blessings. So Allah sent down Surah Quraish to turn their attention towards His mercy, reminding them to be thankful to their Lord instead of worshipping other gods.

لِإِيلَٰفِ قُرَيۡشٍ إِۦلَٰفِهِمۡ رِحۡلَةَ اَ۬لشِّتَآءِ وَالصَّيۡفِ فَلۡيَعۡبُدُوا۟ رَبَّ هَٰذَا اَ۬لۡبَيۡتِ اِ۬لَّذِےٓ أَطۡعَمَهُم مِّن جُوعٍ وَءَامَنَهُم مِّنۡ خَوۡفٍۭ

Li-eelaafi quraish Eelaafihim rihlatash shitaaa’i wassaif Faly’abudoo rabba haazal-bait Allazeee at’amahum min joo’inw-wa-aamanahum min khawf

For the accustomed security of the Quraish—their accustomed security [in] the caravan of winter and summer—let them worship the Lord of this House, Who has fed them, [saving them] from hunger and made them safe, [saving them] from fear.
